Walt Disney World has released resort room-only discounts for October to December 2025 for Annual Passholders with savings of up to 30% off select dates through Christmas Day. This post shares the details of these special offers, best dates to save the most money, plus sample pricing, commentary, analysis & other info.
Generally speaking, the AP discount is better than the new general public 20% off deal (obviously, 30% > 20%). Whether it’s better than the Florida and Georgia resident deal is less obvious, since there aren’t percentages attached to that. If you’re considering a Christmas trip and are also a resident of those states, we’d recommend starting by pricing out that deal, as the Walt Disney World Resident Rates Can Offer Half-Off Hotels for the Holidays. Not always, but sometimes–and that obviously far surpasses the up to 30% off here.

Per Walt Disney World, here are the deal details: Annual Passholders can stay in the magic and save on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels this fall and holiday season, valid for stays the following dates:
- Most Sunday to Thursday nights from October 12 to November 20, 2025
- Most nights from November 23 to December 25, 2025

Annual Passholders must present a valid Walt Disney World AP at check-in. Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Deluxe Villa Resorts. Maximum length of stay under this deal is 14 nights.
Offer excludes the following room types: Campsites, 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Bungalows and 2-Bedroom Penthouse Polynesian Tower Rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

This search is for the night of November 18, 2025. On the rack rate chart spectrum, this is one of the more reasonably priced times of the year to visit Walt Disney World in 2025.
Similarly-priced dates can be found throughout October through December, minus school breaks and holidays. (This date also overlaps with the new Georgia & Florida deals, making for easier comparison.) Once you get to the week before Christmas, all bets are off. Rack rates jump so much that they superior savings can’t overcome the higher base prices.
This is also one of the ‘sweet spots’ with higher savings rates on the above AP discount chart and lower rack rates. If you were to price out dates that are during a peak holiday week or slower dates, you might have very different results.
There’s huge variance in prices this time of year, making our sample prices somewhat meaningless unless you’re visiting during similar dates. If you’re visiting in late October or early December 2025, you might see similar rates. If you’re traveling over Thanksgiving or Christmas, the prices will be much higher.
Rates also vary on different days of the week. Friday through Sunday nights are all going to be more expensive, and less consistent. In general, Friday and Saturday will be the most expensive days of the week, with Sunday through Thursday costing less–but still more than Monday through Wednesday nights. Holiday weeks are also more expensive. Basically, room rates are higher any time when kids are out of school.

My assessment this discount is mostly positive. Many longtime Walt Disney World fans are probably going to disagree with this, especially after seeing better summer deals or last year’s version of this same deal maxing out at 40% off. All of that is true.
At the same time, look at the list of prices above. All Stars starting at $117 per night and Pop Century for around $175 is fantastic. Moderates are in the sub-$250 starting range, with Animal Kingdom Lodge at around $360 per night.
Larger parties could do a holiday season stay at the new DVC Cabins at Fort Wilderness for under $400 per night! Several other Deluxe Resorts for under $400 per night, but availability for multiple nights can be tricky.
That’s all really good, and much better than what Walt Disney World was offering in 2021-2022. Admittedly, it is worse than 2023-2024. Every single price listed above is higher than last year. Some by only a few dollars per night; others by $30-40 or more.
From my perspective, though, it’s the savings last year that were fantastic–not the ones this year that are subpar. This is more of a reversion to 2019 normal, albeit with higher base rates. Your perspective may vary.
One thing to note is that the AP discount offers the best prices for the lowest rate season dates, but the Georgia and Florida resident deal wins (assuming availability in the resort & room categories–and that you want one of those hotels) for peak season dates around Thanksgiving and Christmas. That’s because it’s not a percentage discount and this is. Again, we’d recommend checking that out first if you’re a Florida or Georgia resident with flexibility. This AP rate will win much or most of the time, but when that $129/night (and up) deal wins–it wins big.

Ultimately, if you’re an Annual Passholder who is eager for a Halloween or Christmas getaway to Walt Disney World, these deals are really strong. You can still do better with Disney Vacation Club Point Rentals, but it’s too late to rent for most of these dates, anyway.
We always go in mid-November and/or early December, as that’s one of the least-crowded times of the entire year at Walt Disney World. It’s also one of the cheapest times to visit, as evidenced by the above resort rates. Ticket prices are also cheaper–ditto seasonal events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. Oh, and the weather is usually much, much better than just a couple months early. Crowds can be slightly higher, but it’s a tradeoff we will happily take for temperatures that are 20 degrees cooler!
